Fast breaker can get down transformer’s primary voltage within 1 millisecond to 50% of previous value until breaker trip, its advantage are:
Extinguish arc, which is cause by breakdown, restrain over-voltage, protection test object and system itself, and extent system’s working life;
When test object breakdown, fast controllable silicon is triggered, which get down transformer’s voltage in 10ms, and absorb magnetic field energy inside of transformer, get down over-voltage and extinguish arc on the test object;
The communication between strong electricity and weak electricity is done by optical fiber, which has excellent performance on anti-interference.
The device is consist of detection circuit, logical judgement amplifying circuit, strong trigger circuit, high speed thyristor and reactor self-control, indicating, and preset protection circuit, five parts. Each circuit is connected with optical fiber.
