Low voltage winding can be serial or parallel connected:
When serial connected: HV output is 600kV 1.5A;
When parallel connected: HV output is 1200kV 1.5A.
(HV terminal of the transformer will be earthed through a current transformer 5/5 so as to check the current value of HV side and ensure safety of the operators and equipment)

Over Current Ability: withstand 180s at 120% rated current (1.8A), no thermal damage or distortion of the winding.
Over Voltage Ability: Overvoltage at 105% UH (1260kV) for 60s, not happened any insulation damage for the testing transformer.
Short circuit breakdown test: breakdown via damping resistor (protection resistor) three times at 1000kV, no damage to the transformer.
Insulation Level: 20kV/1min (low voltage winding to earth) ; 5kV/1min (high voltage terminal to ground)
Partial discharge level: ≤3pC at 1000kV ; ≤1pC at 800kV
Noise: ≤65dB            Dielectric loss: <0.5%
Operating Time: at 1000kV 5000pF capacitance load, 5min on, 30min off; every day 20cycles.
Protection: Equip with 10kV surge arrestors.
