(I). Cause for Start-up Power protection
1. Turn on power switch, power indicator will light up, if lower right corner of the screen indicates “Er-Ps” which means start-up software protection, computer fails to reset safely, please turn off power and reboot.
2. Products designed after HCL2840D are all equipped with 380V protection. Turn on power switch, power indicator lights up yet no display, this possibly means excessive power input that triggered 380V protection. The instrument rated input power supply is AC 180V~270V (virtual value), on condition that input voltage over 270V, namely peak value>380V, protection will be activated.
3. “Er-H” or “Er-L” indicated at the lower right corner of the screen during operation means input power fluctuation, input power exceeds 270V.
Note: despite all the protection mechanism, user is yet required to operate as
indicated in the <Safety Code> and avoid connection to the wrong power supply.
(II). Causes for Power Panel Leakage Protector Action
Inside the instrument panel power socket, fire wire and earth wire insolated to the ground, the instrument shell is connect to the earthing terminal, therefore normal wiring can’t trigger power panel leakage protector action under any circumstances.
We checked patch board which is the cause of leakage protection and discovered that zero line on the patch board(N) is connected to ground line(G), the instrument ground protection triggered leakage protector action. This is an extremely wrong way of connection which will lead to instrument burnout under lighter consequences, on condition of inversed connection of fire wire and zero wire, the instrument shell will be electrified with fair possibility of electric shock.
