Features:
The water conditioning is used to remove the heat generated by the current flowing through the water and deionizer the water that circulates through the terminals.
Resistance coefficient of the water in conditioning unit > 2MΩ-cm
When water temperature is higher than 40℃, the external cooling system should be proper.
When device cannot circulate/work, please check water level, the device is designed not work when water level is low.
When device can not circulate/work, please check sequence editor, the device is designed not work when pump reversal protection not working.
Suggestion:
Normally, cable test termination < 300kV, can use one unit 120kW water conditioning units; if 400kV terminations, we will proposal two units 120kW water conditioning units.
When power cable long term testing, the water temperature raise, if water conditioning unit power too low, the twater termperature can not be cooled efficiently. This will reduce the quality factor and failure on the cable test. So we proposal some margin when you select the device.
