First Domestic “PS, PG and Load” Interaction System Successfully Updated and Expanded

The first domestic massive-scale“power supply,power grid and load”friendly interaction system was successfully updated in the city of Kunshan,Jiangsu Province on March 7,2017.Now,the haptic control of system has extended from 10kV HV electricity to 400V LV and the level of instant response load control has increased from 8 to 12.More 87 companies were set up in the city of Suzhou.When the UHV grid needs to balance the electrical supply-consume load,the system can add instant controllable load up to 10,000. 

35 large companies and 17 substations in the city of Kunshan conducted the integration test on that day.The instant response load control level of some relevant companies increased from 8 to 12.In other words,the electricity use of those companies which are involved in the friendly interaction system can be divided into 12 levels at most.The instant control and reduction of electricity load is performed according to the actual demand of companies.The technology realizes large-scale application only in the Huainan-Nanjing-Shanghai UHV power transmission and distribution project. 

Centering around 1000kV UHV Dongwu substation,the Jiangsu Electrical Power company upgraded and expanded the system in Suzhou region.Around 2500 large companies are able to support 5.6million kilowatts of power load at UHV instant power outrage,which amounts to one fourth of dispatch load in the city of Suzhou at summer electricity use peak.
